Jounouchi gave a slight chuckle at her response. Being raised on the streets, he's been ready to lose a body part or two.

Once the pointer pointed at the eye, he lost his face slightly. To think he would lose "that" certain body part. An all-too familiar face popped into his mind, swearing upon it that he would save them from their illness. However he did not expect himself to be burdened in that way-- if not being half.

Being blind in one eye would allow him to be closer to that person, no matter how far apart they are. That was his only consolation.
