[ this. what the hell was this? this wasn't like home. it wasn't like anything. it wasn't even like hell. hell...he'd have a lot more to deal with ]

[ Levi was quiet for the longest time as he lay in his cell, just looking up at the ceiling. all those years during his stupid youth had somehow caught up with him and now... now he was paying for it. and this wasn't even the way he thought he would be paying for it. he thought he'd have a one way ticked to the electric chair after how that trial went.

Levi remembered how he stayed completely quiet during the trial. what was there even to say? nothing, of course. he just accepted it and also accepted the fact that he was probably going to get the death penalty. but he didn't. they went soft on him. the bastards.

now, he was just staring at the ceiling. he had opened his mouth to tell the crying girl across from him to shut-up, but then closed it. once the cells were open, Levi stood at the door for the longest time. his expression was, well, the same as usual. vague and annoyed, even looking slightly bored. he walked past others, not even interested in speaking to them ]

...

[ now, he was standing at the door to go outside. snow, just like home. was he even allowed to go outside? he didn't know and he didn't want to risk it. so he continued to stand at the door, watching others as they were outside ]

Why not? [ Levi actually looks surprised to hear that ]

I don't know them. Anyone's capable of lying. I'm not going to hurt the ones I'm on decent terms with, but that doesn't mean they would do the same for me. They aren't my friends. Just allies.

That's...actually good thinking. [ maybe this kid wasn't as naive as he thought ]

I want to get out of here and see them pay, more than anything. I'm not going to let something as stupid as sentimentality cloud my judgment.

[ Eren=new bff. Levi rubs his knuckles off on his jumpsuit. something...about the way that Eren talks about all of this seems like he could do it. but he was just a boy. that's why Levi knew that he needed help ]

Good. If you're wanting to get out alive, keep thinking like that.

[Eren nods fervently. He had never considered giving up, but now it seems even more possible. They can accomplish anything.]

Do you have any fighting experience? You'll need whatever you can learn if you don't.

I've been in a lot of street fights. But I haven't used many weapons.

[captainapathetic]

We'll have to start on that soon if you're really going through with everything. I'll have to teach you strategies in a fight. You can't go around fighting like a thug or you'll be beaten like one.

[dacnomania]

[If they were somewhere else, Eren would probably be thrilled to know he gets to train under Captai Levi. As it is, he's still left a little in awe. He nods stiffly.] I'm ready to start as soon as possible.

[captainapathetic]

...Let me get used to this place, then we'll start. I'm going to see if I can find sone weapons first.

All right. I can help.

[captainapathetic]

With finding weapons? [ he puts a hand on his hip ] How will you do that?

[dacnomania]

Just by looking around. [Okay so maybe he has no idea.] How...else would it be done?

[captainapathetic]

They're going to be locked up in a prison. If you can't fashion your own, then you'll have to find people who can get them. We'll need to wait and see.

Show me what you know about this place in the mean time. [ if this kid really was wanting to go through with everything...Levi would have to keep an eye on him and make sure nothing happened. he needed to know every danger and everything else that might go wrong here ]

We'll need more firepower than anything I can fashion. [he nods.]

This is the courtyard, and you've already seen your cell block. They're pretty much all the same. Have you been to the central area yet?

I haven't. I came right out here when my cell was opened .

[dacnomania]

That's where everything else is. There are two floors and they have places like the library and cafeteria.

[captainapathetic]

A library... What sort of material do they have in there and are all the books scattered everywhere or neatly put on the shelves? [ he wants to know for fire purposes :3 ]

Besides books? There's the tables and chairs for reading there...it's pretty neat, but I guess it depends on who's working there. [Yay!!!]

Who usually works there?

I don't know, I've never paid much attention. We could go find out.

[ he doesn't say anything else, just turns and heads back up the steps towards the door. going back in now! ]
