EVENT - THE MILGRAM EXPERIMENT

Come one, come all! This wonderful test of brain power and courage is about to commence! What is it exactly, you ask? Well then, don't worry your little head about that one bit! The birdie here will explain it all to you.

The rules are very simple. There is a shocker and a shockee, following so far? The inmates will both be lead into different rooms. There is a glass wall that separates them, and of course a glass wall for the audience to be able to see and watch everything! Now then, the shocker will be provided with questions thanks to a digital screen. The screen itself is integrated into the table they will be seated at, as well as a button, and questions will begin to appear once the game begins. The questions start out easy then start to get harder, and if the shocker tries to tell the shockee any answers, then they will receive the electricity instead, seeing as how they are strapped down to an electric chair as well.

Sounds pretty fun so far! Either way, each pair has four questions to get through. For each question answered correctly, they will gain CP. If the shockee is unable to answer a question, or answers wrong, then it's up to the shocker to provide the pain and then they get the CP. See it's a good game where everyone is rewarded! The shockee cannot die on the first two questions, if they are to answer it wrong (or if the shocker gets the electricity instead) but they can die on the third question, and they will die on the last question if they are shocked. Now then, off to the CP count.

First = 30,000 CP
Second = 40,000 CP
Third = 50,000 CP
Fourth = 80,000 CP

Oh, and there are no extra rewards for dying in this event. The CP gained from questions and shocking will be the only CP awarded. So, comment in the proper spot with your muses entering, and then the shockers will be getting PM's with the questions!

Let it begin!

"You make it sound so easy, miss, but I'll do my best! So show me what you got!"

Although on the inside he was hoping there would be questions he can actually answer. He nearly failed out of the entrance exams to the private school he attended with his mistress.

At least he was more rested this time.

"That's the spirit! First: The Amazon rainforest supplies how much of the world's oxygen?"
combatbutler: (✩ {Think} No way communists?)

[personal profile] combatbutler 2014-08-06 08:26 am (UTC)(link)
"Rainforest?"

Hearing that question, he began to think. He hasn't even been out of the country before. He'll close his hands and calm his breath. The last time he took a test with an erratic mind, he failed.

"Alright, I think I got it. The Amazon rainforest is the largest in the world so um... hmm oxygen wise... it supplies 20% of our oxygen."

"Sorry, the answer is-- oh, wait a second." 20% and 1/5 were the same thing, weren't they? "Ah, no, you're right after all! Good job."

Good thing she stopped to think. "All right, next question. The first talking picture in Britain was called Blackmail, in the year 1929. Who directed it?"
combatbutler: (✩ {Smile} Just call my name)

The boy heaved a sigh of relief, but shook his head since it was too early to be relieved.

"Hmm Blackmail you say? Where did I hear that?"

Hayate thought back to the various movies and series he's seen. Some even scared his mistress.

"Ah! That cute movie, quite famous indeed. The director is Alfred Hitchcock if I recall correctly who also directed other cute movies."

pavomuticus: (Good for you)

[personal profile] pavomuticus 2014-08-07 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
Alfred Hitchcock's movies were cute? Chaplin raised an eyebrow. But that was the right answer.

"You're doing wonderfully. You might just make it out of this without harming a single hair on your head! Next: How far does a honeybee have to travel, on average, to collect enough nectar to make a pound of honey?"
combatbutler: (✩ {Think} No way communists?)

[personal profile] combatbutler 2014-08-10 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
He suggested Madoka Magica and Dog of Flanders and called them cute. Hayate's tastes are weird.

"Thanks, I guess my luck is really turning around this time, but better save the laughs." If he could he would scratch his head, wondering if his bad luck was really turning out for the good of him.

"Honey you say. Hmm, well if we take it in a roundabout away and take away the obstacles surrounding the bee. Would the correct answer be 54,000 miles?"
pavomuticus: (Default)

[personal profile] pavomuticus 2014-08-10 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
"Nope! If you're counting in miles, the answer is 43,000."

She's slightly regretful as she pushes the button. He is just a kid. But better him than her.
combatbutler: (✩ {FML} Just my Luck)

[personal profile] combatbutler 2014-08-10 08:09 am (UTC)(link)
Well his luck ran out. He gave a dry laugh before the lady struck him with lightening. The pain was massive and he tried to fight the urge to scream at the top of his lungs but it was painful. This was the third question so it was a lethal dose to his liking. "I tried..."
pavomuticus: (What's over there?)

[personal profile] pavomuticus 2014-08-10 08:11 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, that looked like it hurt. Chaplin leaned forward in concern. "How are you feeling, boy?"
combatbutler: (✩ {Think} No way communists?)

[personal profile] combatbutler 2014-08-14 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
The room was spinning, but he managed to stay conscious. He could survive one more question, perhaps. "Aha, just hit me with the next question please." Hayate gives a nervous, but out of breath laugh.
pavomuticus: (Grin)

[personal profile] pavomuticus 2014-08-14 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, good, he was all right. Chaplin smiled.

"Scientists believe that the cores of which two planets in our solar system may be composed of layers of diamonds hundreds of miles thick?"
combatbutler: (✩ {FML} Just my Luck)

[personal profile] combatbutler 2014-08-16 09:26 am (UTC)(link)
Once again the butler was at a loss. He might as well just give up now. "I don't know, what are they?" He gives a tired laugh, but hey, if he must die he wanted to know.
pavomuticus: (What's over there?)

[personal profile] pavomuticus 2014-08-16 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
"Uranus and Neptune. Sorry, honey." And she pressed the button.

She did avert her eyes from Hayate. It was really too bad.
