EVENT - THE MILGRAM EXPERIMENT

Come one, come all! This wonderful test of brain power and courage is about to commence! What is it exactly, you ask? Well then, don't worry your little head about that one bit! The birdie here will explain it all to you.

The rules are very simple. There is a shocker and a shockee, following so far? The inmates will both be lead into different rooms. There is a glass wall that separates them, and of course a glass wall for the audience to be able to see and watch everything! Now then, the shocker will be provided with questions thanks to a digital screen. The screen itself is integrated into the table they will be seated at, as well as a button, and questions will begin to appear once the game begins. The questions start out easy then start to get harder, and if the shocker tries to tell the shockee any answers, then they will receive the electricity instead, seeing as how they are strapped down to an electric chair as well.

Sounds pretty fun so far! Either way, each pair has four questions to get through. For each question answered correctly, they will gain CP. If the shockee is unable to answer a question, or answers wrong, then it's up to the shocker to provide the pain and then they get the CP. See it's a good game where everyone is rewarded! The shockee cannot die on the first two questions, if they are to answer it wrong (or if the shocker gets the electricity instead) but they can die on the third question, and they will die on the last question if they are shocked. Now then, off to the CP count.

First = 30,000 CP
Second = 40,000 CP
Third = 50,000 CP
Fourth = 80,000 CP

Oh, and there are no extra rewards for dying in this event. The CP gained from questions and shocking will be the only CP awarded. So, comment in the proper spot with your muses entering, and then the shockers will be getting PM's with the questions!

Let it begin!

"Damn it, Hidari!" The only crutch he had for what he knew was coming was to be angry. Yelling at him wouldn't change their positions, but his rage was all he had left. Stupidly he fought the restraints for a second time, but even if by some way he were to get them loose he wouldn't know what to do. It would be too late to save Hidari by then.

He cursed again, louder this time, hating how helpless he was. Despite everything, it seemed that being unable to save anyone was the despair he was meant to live with. Just like with his family, all he could do was watch as death took it's victim.

"On with it, Terui!" he shouted at him. "Make a guess. There's a chance you might actually stumble into the answer." A slim one, but the answer wasn't actually all that obscure. And depending on your point of view on dentists, Shotaro may have actually given him a hint.

His thoughts raced, but he could hardly think straight long enough to even make that guess. What would make sense? What would be logical? For someone to invent the electric chair they would have to know something about science, something about the people who would end up there, something about... something about what? He didn't know and it made him want to scream.

"Psychologist." He managed to spit out the word as if he was under control of himself, but anyone who was looking close enough would find genuine fear in his eyes. Shotaro Hidari was going to die, and it was his fault.

"No," he responded simply. "It was a dentist. I even gave you a clue."

But whoever was in charge of enforcing the shocks already knew Shotaro had no intention of following through. He barely got those words out before his body jerked and his chair hummed.

His body, compromised as it was, didn't last long during that final shock. It was only a few seconds before blood ran out of his nose and his lips. His body still jerked, but only out of muscle reflex. The unmistakable smell of scorched hair and flesh was a last confirmation that yes, he was dead.

"What the hell kind of hint--" He didn't even have time to argue with him before the electricity began taking over his body for the second time. Ryu's eyes widened and he sat speechless for a stunned second before he started screaming Hidari's name. He knew that he had allowed himself to care too much, and now the guilt spreading through him was just as real as the shock waves.

He breathed heavily through his nose, his regret melting to anger as Hidari's own screaming ceased. He stared at the body, his steeled expression hiding just how much he hated to look at it. But he had to. He had to remember just what it looked like so he would never be tempted to award the Warden an ounce of his mercy.
