EVENT - THE MILGRAM EXPERIMENT

Come one, come all! This wonderful test of brain power and courage is about to commence! What is it exactly, you ask? Well then, don't worry your little head about that one bit! The birdie here will explain it all to you.

The rules are very simple. There is a shocker and a shockee, following so far? The inmates will both be lead into different rooms. There is a glass wall that separates them, and of course a glass wall for the audience to be able to see and watch everything! Now then, the shocker will be provided with questions thanks to a digital screen. The screen itself is integrated into the table they will be seated at, as well as a button, and questions will begin to appear once the game begins. The questions start out easy then start to get harder, and if the shocker tries to tell the shockee any answers, then they will receive the electricity instead, seeing as how they are strapped down to an electric chair as well.

Sounds pretty fun so far! Either way, each pair has four questions to get through. For each question answered correctly, they will gain CP. If the shockee is unable to answer a question, or answers wrong, then it's up to the shocker to provide the pain and then they get the CP. See it's a good game where everyone is rewarded! The shockee cannot die on the first two questions, if they are to answer it wrong (or if the shocker gets the electricity instead) but they can die on the third question, and they will die on the last question if they are shocked. Now then, off to the CP count.

First = 30,000 CP
Second = 40,000 CP
Third = 50,000 CP
Fourth = 80,000 CP

Oh, and there are no extra rewards for dying in this event. The CP gained from questions and shocking will be the only CP awarded. So, comment in the proper spot with your muses entering, and then the shockers will be getting PM's with the questions!

Let it begin!

"Nothing, but that doesn't mean I'm going to touch it."

She's a bit of an odd one, sometimes. It's just easier to tease other people about weird things when you're under stress, honestly. And this counts as a stressful situation.

"Probably something to prevent Deadmen from acting up. All we need to start a fight is to bleed a little and we've got a weapon."
sinspawn: (puzzled)

"I'd rather not have strangers touch my face so it works out for both of us."

At least she distracted him enough for him to forget his face was itching. Until he remembers. Crap. But he has no idea what she's talking about and squints his eyes a little.

"'We'? You mean you're dead? Like a zombie?"
tenminutes: (What do you mean 50% off!?)

[personal profile] tenminutes 2014-08-10 08:03 pm (UTC)(link)
"Of course I'm not dead! And definitely not a zombie! Why, do I look like one to you!?"

Despite their position, she's definitely yelling now. And squinting her eyes right back because wow how did yelling make a staring contest harder?
sinspawn: (stunned)

[personal profile] sinspawn 2014-08-10 08:15 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yeee--no...? Is that a trick question? You said you're a deadman! What was I supposed to think?!"

Of course he yells back at her. And now his eyes are starting to water. Great. Good thing he's used to his eyes being exposed to water or so he tells himself.
tenminutes: (Don't believe in the sale fairy anymore.)

Yuri closed her eyes at the shock. It was a surprise! And a really painful one too. She accidentally bit her tongue when it happened, a bit of blood in her mouth from the jolt.

Yuri didn't really want to spit it out since she didn't have any way to really get it away from here. That would be a mess. She slumped against the chair, before yelling as loudly as she possibly could in the brattiest way she could think of.

"Uhg, gross, a witch sent me a message!"

She knew it was a stupid move. It was a horrible move and there really was no way out of this, but she wasn't going to play this game.
sinspawn: (crap)

Ow that did not feel like five seconds. Tidus grimaced, his jaw locked until it finally ended. He nearly jumped when Yuri yelled, but he just yelled back.

"Well, what did it say?! Can't you just send them one back?!"
tenminutes: (That was a joke. Get it?)

[personal profile] tenminutes 2014-08-13 07:14 am (UTC)(link)
"She said that talking is boring and we have to hurry it up, so obviously she can hear us. I'll bet she has green skin and warts."

Honestly, Yuri was glad she was a lot better at hiding pain than she was at dealing with it. At least enough to keep insulting the person with the zap button.
sinspawn: (talking)

"I bet she's really ugly, and that her voice sounds like gravel! That's probably why she's messaging you, because if you heard her, you'd know how awful she sounded."

Tidus was all for insulting them. He was hurting, but he was more angry than scared.

"You know what's really boring? This game! You suck, witch!"
tenminutes: (Juice boxes are better that coffee.)

"Back at you, witch."

Yuri doesn't let how pissed off she is leak into her tone. She wants to, and there's a look in her eyes that she wants to scream about it because she knows what's coming, but at least this way the audience will get to see two people who are refusing to play their game.

"Tidus, message says 'Last warning.' Sure you don't want to shoot me a question so I can refuse to answer? You have the choice to give into wart-face still, but thanks for standing by me if you don't."

Oh. It's weird for him to think about how he's about to die. And Yuri, but as far as he's concerned, there isn't an alternative. This was bound to happen sooner or later, and he'll be fine eventually, right?

"Thanks for going along with it. You never told me what a dead person was, by the way."

"I'll tell you in the afterlife!"

It was a joke, even if it didn't sound as confident as she would have liked it to. This wasn't how she wanted to die at all, but the reality was that winning this game would be losing to the Warden. There was a chance they would both survive if she got the questions right, but if there was one thing that Yuri knew it was that you had to be the change you wanted to see. Participating wasn't going to get them anywhere.
