EVENT - THE MILGRAM EXPERIMENT

Come one, come all! This wonderful test of brain power and courage is about to commence! What is it exactly, you ask? Well then, don't worry your little head about that one bit! The birdie here will explain it all to you.

The rules are very simple. There is a shocker and a shockee, following so far? The inmates will both be lead into different rooms. There is a glass wall that separates them, and of course a glass wall for the audience to be able to see and watch everything! Now then, the shocker will be provided with questions thanks to a digital screen. The screen itself is integrated into the table they will be seated at, as well as a button, and questions will begin to appear once the game begins. The questions start out easy then start to get harder, and if the shocker tries to tell the shockee any answers, then they will receive the electricity instead, seeing as how they are strapped down to an electric chair as well.

Sounds pretty fun so far! Either way, each pair has four questions to get through. For each question answered correctly, they will gain CP. If the shockee is unable to answer a question, or answers wrong, then it's up to the shocker to provide the pain and then they get the CP. See it's a good game where everyone is rewarded! The shockee cannot die on the first two questions, if they are to answer it wrong (or if the shocker gets the electricity instead) but they can die on the third question, and they will die on the last question if they are shocked. Now then, off to the CP count.

First = 30,000 CP
Second = 40,000 CP
Third = 50,000 CP
Fourth = 80,000 CP

Oh, and there are no extra rewards for dying in this event. The CP gained from questions and shocking will be the only CP awarded. So, comment in the proper spot with your muses entering, and then the shockers will be getting PM's with the questions!

Nonon dug her nails into her palms as she dealt with the electricity coursing through her body. That was less than pleasurable, for sure, but it wasn't honestly that. She expected much worse.
"What's question three?" she murmured, trying to catch her breath.

Scratch watched every second of it, his eyebrows furrowed but his expression otherwise blank. It wouldn't rip him up inside if he ended up killing her since, after all, she would come back again -- but something about the scene unsettled him somewhere in the reaches of his psyche.

He'd just have to ignore it.

"Think fast. Bees cannot detect which of the following colors: red, yellow, blue, or green?"

For some reason, Nonon remembered this stupid bit of trivia from one of her nerd friends who followed her around like a lost puppy dog. For once, his knowledge was useful, and without a second thought, she blurted out, "red!"

His hand had already been hovering over the button before she even spoke, so he had to catch himself when she actually got the answer right. He almost looked mildly impressed.

"Think you can get the last one?"

Nonon grimaced. She had impressed herself but she was sure the last question was bound to be the most difficult.
How was the experiment to go past this? Would Scratch die? Would she die? Would they both at least survive and get to go on about what they were doing?
"Uh... yeah."

Scratch already knew that the chance the ordeal wouldn't end in death was close to zero. The odds were stacked against them, just as the Warden liked it. He would have preferred that the one to die would be someone other than Nonon, but it sure as hell wasn't going to be him.

"Make me proud, Jakuzure. What year was the first instant ramen noodle invented?" It was pretty useless trivia but maybe this was something all little Japanese girls knew.

Nonon squinted at him. Was this a poke at her being Japanese? Was she expected to know this?
The awkward thing was she did.
The dumb Mankanshoku kid, while stuffing her yap, always ran it. About dumb stuff.

"It was invented in 1958. Do you need the inventor's name too?"
She smirked to herself. She made him proud, no?

The second she spoke the answer, Scratch leaned back in his chair and actually laughed. Rather that laugh was born of genuine humor, relief or just flat out insanity, no one would ever know.

"Nonon, Nonon! If I could move my arms I'd give you a round of applause, kid. Looks like you just saved both our asses." He grinned, actually pretty damn impressed with her.
