Intro [Open to all]
[Out of all the indignities Tokaku have had to deal with since the less than desirable outcome of her mission (save for the obvious, of course), her presence in what passes for a food hall has to be the sorest. She's gone through the motions since her arrest, hardly tense at the threat of discomfort.
The bland and utterly unappetizing food shouldn't have been a surprise, but it's unwelcome all the same. She pokes at it listlessly, knowing she needs to eat to keep her spirits up and her sanity in this place, and yet....
If there's any motivation to improve her circumstances left in her, it will be cultivated to obtain a decent bowl of curry.]

So she may have wasted a good portion of her CP on the phone blubbering at a friend back home about it. It was worth it.
Holding a lunch tray, she flops down at a random cafeteria table. Ugh, this food is worse than her school cafeteria. She glances over at Tokaku, who doesn't seem that thrilled either. ]
Nasty, right?

You're new here, huh?
[He slides into the seat across from her. He's also got gruel, despite the nice hat and the scent of smoke that clings to him. Clearly a man with priorities.]
I'd say you get used to this slop, but you really don't.
no subject
Or maybe that's the point.

[On that cheery note he digs in, taking heaping spoonfuls. If he has to eat this shit, may as well get it over with as soon as possible. He glances up at the girl between mouthfuls and gestures with his spoon.]
Better hurry up. The stuff congeals.
no subject
Thanks. You're free to it if you want.

[He shoots her a quizzical look, but shrugs and takes her bowl before she can change her mind. Disgusting or not, it'll still fill his stomach. The kitchen's portions are never enough for a guy his size.]
Well, I guess I know who'll be easy pickings in the next event.

Oh yes, that's quite unique here. No one ever tries to kill career criminals.
no subject
There is no way he would have been but it´s weirdly humiliating to be caught off guard by your favourite least favorite student.
Then he´s disappointed. She got caught. If that was the result of her awakening it was truly underwhelming. ]
Tookaku~ Not enjoying your deluxe meal?
[ Despite having to face her in a prison jumpsuit –he only bought back sunglasses – he carries himself with the same detached arrogance as always. ]
no subject
Relax, but it's hard to will your body to do so when the most visible muscles in your jaw tense at the voice.]
What are you doing here? [The chair screeches as she can't help but push it back to scowl.]
no subject
Not a very heartfelt way to greet your beloved teacher.
[ Kaiba shrugs and tugs at his prison jumpsuit, going back to his normal predatory smile. ]
Answering my calling of tutoring kids.... serving a prison sentence on the side....
[ If there is anything Kaiba is, it's learning and a little prison is not going to stop him from spreading this passion. He loves learning. He doesn't love students the same way and if he does, he has a strange way to show it. But prison is not supposed to be fun, even for kids, is it? ]

If this isn't interesting. Another way to punish those who are already being punished?
no subject
Now now, education's hardly a punishment. If anything, it's a useful tool, wouldn't you say?
no subject

Being inside might not be so bad for a little study excursion.
[ Although he doesn't exactly plan on staying all of his sentence, really. ]
no subject
I suppose it's pointless to ask what exactly you're planning, isn't it.
no subject
[ Almost sounds as if Tokaku wouldn't believe he didn't just get in here for being a criminal and letting himself be caught. If he didn't know better, he'd be touched. ]
What I find far more interesting is that you are here and can even consider asking at all... So you finally did it, eh?
no subject
Hey. This spot taken, newbie?

So, got a name? Folks call me Fetch.

[ She shook her head. ]
Not even been a week yet. I'm a newbie too, honestly.
no subject
Not hardened yet, then, or is that just a prison stereotype?

[ She shrugged at the question. ]
I only know two people you might wanna avoid so far, at least on the battlefield. A guy named Ankh is pretty willing to set fire to anyone who pisses him off, so probably stay out of his way. The other guy, Philip, ain't a bad kid at all but when he's fighting he's pretty dangerous. Try not to get in the ring with him.
I'd tell you to say on the staff's good side, but, eh... not like I've made the effort.
no subject
Don't worry. I have no intention of getting into trouble. [Only out of apathy rather than self preservation]
How unavoidable fights are here, realistically?

no subject
Yeah, but they do some weird shit here. They keep us from dyin' permanently somehow.
no subject
but she doesn't seem to have much trouble approaching the newcomer. ] Hungry, newbie?
