[ After the morning announcements, something exciting happens! Yes, yes, yes-- there's flashing lights, a live studio audience..! And a rather infamous wheel that made its name into gameshow history center stage next to a large holographic board with a green backs and white blanks on the board. As the first group of inmates are escorted to their positions behind their score podiums, the crowd simultaneously chants "WHEEL... OF... MISFORTUNE!" oh-so-cheerfully!

That's when the famous Deadman Wonderland announcer speaks up... ]

Ladies, gentlemen, and all those kind enough to join us tonight: The President aaaand The Director!

[ The twins walk out onto the stage together, the Director dressed in a crisp suit and the President in a nice dress, though her hair is down as always. They literally look like they could be hosting the Wheel of Fortune TV show-- except the Director heads over to the board while the President heads near the contestants. ]

Hi everyone, I'm the President. If you're unfamiliar with the game, each pair gets to guess one letter per spin. You can only guess consonants for free, vowels cost a price. You can solve the puzzle early if you know the answer to end the game, but you will cut off chances for more CP if you do that. If the letter you guess isn't in the puzzle, the next pair gets to play. Each pair can split the CP they earn here at the end of the game.

[ She yawns for a moment, glancing over at the Director. They have some kind of weird non-verbal communication, then she turns back. ]

Let's introduce our first players...

{{ OOC: There will be individual threads for each game! Each game will have one pair threading with the President at a time. When the pair changes, the President's subject line will change with the name of the next pair up! I will also try to remind the players in each pair when it changes. There will be individual threads for each game. Do decide which pair goes first, each pair needs to reply to the President's first comment with a number 1-10. Whoever gets the number or gets closest will be the first pair to go first. One number per pair, whichever character within the pair replies first represents the pair.

Please use this if you need reference for what your character can see on the wheel as they spin it, but all spins will be RNG'd by a mod for fairness! Any special cards will be explained ICly as they appear in-game.

Uh... we obviously can't solve it right now, so... spin? We're spinning, right? [ She looks at Rei because honestly if Robyn made all the decisions here they would probably wind up losing horribly. ]

Huh?

[ She finds herself spacing out for a second before she nods. ]

Y- Yes, we'll spin!

[ Once they spin, the wheel lands on 40,000CP. ]

What letter?

[ But now she's not so certain. That attempt at hangman hadn't gone so well, after all. Robyn just glances at Rei unsurely. ]

[dolosa]

[ Rei's rather quiet as she stares at the puzzle with a rather confused look. ]

How about we choose 'S'? [ She gives a questionable look; she doesn't want to make it decisive unless her partner agrees to it. ] I'm not really good at word guessing games, though...

RYU + ROMAN

[ The buzz rings out for a decided 'nope.' ]

No, sorry. Ryu and Roman, you're up. Spin, buy a vowel, or solve?

[ He really didn't care if Roman got to express how he felt or not. It wasn't like they had any other options anyway. ]

[ When Terui spins the wheel, it lands on 35,000CP. ]

[They did have other options on that, but if Terui was going to make unilateral decisions, so was Roman.]

[ The buzzer goes off again! ]

Tough luck. Robyn and Rei, you're up again. Would you like to spin, buy a vowel, or solve?

[ It's a mystery card! ]

Go ahead and pick a letter, if it's there you can choose between 1,000CP or to pick up the card. There's a 50-50 chance that the card will have 500,000CP or a Bankrupt.

[gloomydoomy]

We're already bankrupt, though.

R? [ Everyone in this game has an R name. Maybe it's lucky. ]

[ And there appear two R's on the board! ]

So now if you pick that up, you'll either go bankrupt or get 500,000CP plus the 2,000CP from the spin for a total of 502,000CP in your game bank. Or you can walk away from that choice and just take the 2,000CP. It's up to the two of you, but you only have 15 seconds to decide.

[gloomydoomy]

Uh.

[ Deer in headlights deer in headlights. The math checks out, but. Robyn looks at Rei as if to ask what the heck do we do? ]

L-- Let's not risk it.

[ She's nervous, but she doesn't want to have anybody get hurt. ]

[gloomydoomy]

Right. We'll just go with the two thousand.

[deeplove]

2,000 it is. That's too bad, that 500,000 would've covered antidote candy for a few days. Oh well.

[ Their money goes up to 2,000 on their podium and the president waits for them to make their next move. She's not going to say it again, she's just waiting. Almost boredly. ]

[gloomydoomy]

[ Maybe they made a mistake...

Just gonna spin again. MAYBE THIS TIME WE WON'T GET THE 500000/BANKRUPT CARD... ]

[ It looks like it lands on 60,000CP! ]

[ She glances at Rei. ] How about N?

N sounds fine by me...

Two N's, so that's 122,000CP total. [ And it displays on their podiums! ]
