[ After the morning announcements, something exciting happens! Yes, yes, yes-- there's flashing lights, a live studio audience..! And a rather infamous wheel that made its name into gameshow history center stage next to a large holographic board with a green backs and white blanks on the board. As the first group of inmates are escorted to their positions behind their score podiums, the crowd simultaneously chants "WHEEL... OF... MISFORTUNE!" oh-so-cheerfully!

That's when the famous Deadman Wonderland announcer speaks up... ]

Ladies, gentlemen, and all those kind enough to join us tonight: The President aaaand The Director!

[ The twins walk out onto the stage together, the Director dressed in a crisp suit and the President in a nice dress, though her hair is down as always. They literally look like they could be hosting the Wheel of Fortune TV show-- except the Director heads over to the board while the President heads near the contestants. ]

Hi everyone, I'm the President. If you're unfamiliar with the game, each pair gets to guess one letter per spin. You can only guess consonants for free, vowels cost a price. You can solve the puzzle early if you know the answer to end the game, but you will cut off chances for more CP if you do that. If the letter you guess isn't in the puzzle, the next pair gets to play. Each pair can split the CP they earn here at the end of the game.

[ She yawns for a moment, glancing over at the Director. They have some kind of weird non-verbal communication, then she turns back. ]

Let's introduce our first players...

{{ OOC: There will be individual threads for each game! Each game will have one pair threading with the President at a time. When the pair changes, the President's subject line will change with the name of the next pair up! I will also try to remind the players in each pair when it changes. There will be individual threads for each game. Do decide which pair goes first, each pair needs to reply to the President's first comment with a number 1-10. Whoever gets the number or gets closest will be the first pair to go first. One number per pair, whichever character within the pair replies first represents the pair.

Please use this if you need reference for what your character can see on the wheel as they spin it, but all spins will be RNG'd by a mod for fairness! Any special cards will be explained ICly as they appear in-game.

[ She's nervous, but she doesn't want to have anybody get hurt. ]

2,000 it is. That's too bad, that 500,000 would've covered antidote candy for a few days. Oh well.

[ Their money goes up to 2,000 on their podium and the president waits for them to make their next move. She's not going to say it again, she's just waiting. Almost boredly. ]

[ Maybe they made a mistake...

Just gonna spin again. MAYBE THIS TIME WE WON'T GET THE 500000/BANKRUPT CARD... ]

[ It looks like it lands on 60,000CP! ]

What letter?

[ She glances at Rei. ] How about N?

[dolosa]

N sounds fine by me...

[deeplove]

Two N's, so that's 122,000CP total. [ And it displays on their podiums! ]

[dolosa]

[ Rei finds herself reeling, though she will take a good glance at her partner to ask: ]

Do you want to spin again, o- or...?

[gloomydoomy]

Maybe we should try buying an E?

[dolosa]

I think... buying an E would be the safest bet. I hope.

[deeplove]

Alright. [ The President waves a hand aaand.. a nurse comes out with two empty blood bags. ]

The price for a vowel is half a pint of blood from each of you to donate to our medical labs. As luck would have it at least it won't be in vain.

[ Blamo, amazing, an E pops up as the Director directs it to! ]

[dolosa]

[ And cue a heavy sigh of relief on her end. That wasn't too bad, she thinks. At least she'll happily give them her blood with ease. ]

A-- at least that wasn't so bad, right?

[gloomydoomy]

B-blood? [ If possible, Robyn turns even paler. ] Can't we just pay with, you know, money?

No takebacksies.

[ They're just hooking them up like an IV bag now to take the blood while they keep playing. ]

What's next?

Crap...

[ She's too petrified to even try to resist. Probably for the better, really. Half a pint's not bad, right? People can lose more than that without being too poor off. ]

Well, we're definitely not buying another vowel. [ And she's spinning! ]

Lucky...

[ The wheel landed on 50,000CP + Premium Dessert Meal Plan. ]

So if you get a right letter this time, you get the CP for however many of those letters are there and you both get a Premium Dessert Meal Plan permanently. That's not too bad.

[gloomydoomy]

Whoa, nice.

[ She glances at Rei. ] L? L's pretty common.

RYU + ROMAN

[deeplove]

Sucks to be you.

[ The buzzer goes off-- no L! It's Roman and Ryu's turn. ]

Your turn, boys. Do something.

[unquestionable]

[ He wasn't surprised that there was more to this whole thing than they'd initially been led to believe. Vowels were pretty much out of the question from then on. ]

Spin it.

[deeplove]

[ It lands on 35,000CP! ]

Letter?

[unquestionable]

[ He'd take any chance he could to prevent Roman from talking, really. It wasn't like there was a low supply of common letters yet, so he could answer pretty fast. ]

[deeplove]

Good going, that's 35,000CP.

[ It appears on the board as the Director turns it. The President watches him, giving a brief wave to her brother before turning her attentions back. ]

What next?

[Roman has had about enough of this shit. He stomps hard on Ryu's foot to keep him from cutting in again.]

We'll spin. We, as in the two of us, on a team together.

[Pointed look at Ryu there.]
