[ After the morning announcements, something exciting happens! Yes, yes, yes-- there's flashing lights, a live studio audience..! And a rather infamous wheel that made its name into gameshow history center stage next to a large holographic board with a green backs and white blanks on the board. As the first group of inmates are escorted to their positions behind their score podiums, the crowd simultaneously chants "WHEEL... OF... MISFORTUNE!" oh-so-cheerfully!

That's when the famous Deadman Wonderland announcer speaks up... ]

Ladies, gentlemen, and all those kind enough to join us tonight: The President aaaand The Director!

[ The twins walk out onto the stage together, the Director dressed in a crisp suit and the President in a nice dress, though her hair is down as always. They literally look like they could be hosting the Wheel of Fortune TV show-- except the Director heads over to the board while the President heads near the contestants. ]

Hi everyone, I'm the President. If you're unfamiliar with the game, each pair gets to guess one letter per spin. You can only guess consonants for free, vowels cost a price. You can solve the puzzle early if you know the answer to end the game, but you will cut off chances for more CP if you do that. If the letter you guess isn't in the puzzle, the next pair gets to play. Each pair can split the CP they earn here at the end of the game.

[ She yawns for a moment, glancing over at the Director. They have some kind of weird non-verbal communication, then she turns back. ]

Let's introduce our first players...

{{ OOC: There will be individual threads for each game! Each game will have one pair threading with the President at a time. When the pair changes, the President's subject line will change with the name of the next pair up! I will also try to remind the players in each pair when it changes. There will be individual threads for each game. Do decide which pair goes first, each pair needs to reply to the President's first comment with a number 1-10. Whoever gets the number or gets closest will be the first pair to go first. One number per pair, whichever character within the pair replies first represents the pair.

Please use this if you need reference for what your character can see on the wheel as they spin it, but all spins will be RNG'd by a mod for fairness! Any special cards will be explained ICly as they appear in-game.

[ Poor Megumi. President sort of looks like she's wondering if they shouldn't have someone clean up a little. The blood's kind of pooling out around the body... ]



Two S's. That's 580,000CP total so far! Your next move?

[ That's... a ton of CP. Megumi hesitates a long moment. There is blood everywhere and here she is, playing safe for herself. She desperately wants to take no risks and yet do take a risk just to make up for what happened to her partner. ]

Spin again.

[ She wanted to say 'buy a vowel' but the words just didn't come out right. ]

[ It lands on 40,000CP. ]

You're having some decent luck.. well, if you get another letter anyway.

You're out of luck. About time though.

[ The buzzer goes off and it's someone else's turn now! ]

[He had shouted and made a lot of noise when Hina was stabbed. He couldn't do a damn thing to stop it. He stared a bit between Hina, the President, and Weiss. He hadn't expected a game like this to have a result like that. He shrugged out of his vest and laid it over Hina's face while Megumi made her later guesses.] This isn't much... but it's better than nothing...

[On to the game. Even if an E might make sense, like hell he was in a hurry to find out what they cost.] S-spinning is the only good option we have.

[whiteas]

[ Weiss almost stopped him from going to put the vest over her face, just because of the risk of it breaking some kind of rule. It was disturbing to her, sure, and she had nothing against Hina. It was scary, definitely, but Weiss put on a brave face. She'd been facing death long enough here to know not to scream at something like that beyond a brief surprised noise at how quickly it had happened. But losing her partner because of something like that would've been a shame.

Weiss leans down to spin the wheel when Shotaro says to, not saying anything just yet. ]

[ It lands on 60,000CP! ]

What's your letter choice?

[He glances back at Weiss again.] Maybe an H?

[deeplove]

So that's 4 of those.. [ The Director's moving around and touching them on. ] 240,000CP already. Pretty impressive. What next?

[whiteas]

[ Weiss quickly pipes up before Shotaro can. She's got an idea about what the answer is, but they don't have nearly enough CP yet. She's willing to risk it. ]

We're spinning!

[deeplove]

[ It lands on 30,000CP! Not very many anyway.. ]

Letter?

[whiteas]

[ Weiss leans in toward Shotaro to whisper to him. ]

If you know what it is, guess the consonants. Since it's low, guess a single consonant so we don't waste multiples on low CP amounts. We can spin once or twice more I'm sure. Understood?

[tanteiotaku]

[He squawked a bit when she went to spin.] Like hell! I'm not planning on getting either of us killed like that.

[whiteas]

If I can't afford candy in a week's time, I'm going to get killed anyway. If you didn't come expecting to risk something, you shouldn't have come at all. If you're not picking, I am.

P!

[deeplove]

[ And the P pops up on the board! ]

So that comes to 270,000 total so far... your next move or are you two going to argue?

[whiteas]

[ Nope, Weiss is spinning right away, barely giving Shotaro a chance to respond! ]

[deeplove]

Lose a turn. Which means one of you loses a body part. Go ahead and pick who it'll be.

[tanteiotaku]

[He should have just shoved her away from the damn thing. But they were fucked now.

More compulsive surgery. Yay. Well hopefully there would be stitching involved. And if there wasn't, even if he was going to volunteer anyway, that made the decision even easier.

He blocks Weiss from coming forward to volunteer with his crutch. He takes his hat off, brushes off imaginary lint, blows into it, and puts it back on his head.] I'll volunteer.

[whiteas]

[ Weiss had been about to open her mouth to volunteer when the crutch got in the way. It wasn't like she wanted to, but she wasn't a bad person. She felt guilt when Shotaro said he'd volunteer. A lot of it. ]

Are you stupid? That was my fault, I should take responsibility for it. You've already got a lot wrong with you.

[ The bandages peeking out from under her clothes and the still-raw burns constantly itching and hurting didn't exactly compare to what Shotaro had already lost. ]

[ As soon as Shotaro volunteers, however, another smaller wheel is brought out with various body parts listed!!

Very, very luckily, when the President spins it for him, it lands on hair! Well, somewhat luckily. ]

Hm.. We'll only take some of it off. You'd look like an egghead alien if we shaved it and I'd get creeped out.

[ The President herself comes over and takes his hand, pulling him over to a chair! And she's gonna totally give him a hair cut. It's a quicky one, and a little sloppy simply because they are a little pressed for time, being on air and all, but it's mostly even. ]

[Okay being lead around by the president with scissors in her hands was kind of terrifying. But when it really seemed like it was going to be just a haircut he stopped looking quite so spooked.]

What the hell is this?! I look like Terui! [Feeling all over his head because this is ridiculous.]

[ She runs her fingers through his hair a little, tousling it. ]

You could probably spike it to look different. I'm not a professional hairstylist, I just did something that looked familiar and he's a pain so I thought of him. [ A beat. ] I can still shave you bald?
