The Newlydeds Game!

Just as The Ringleader promised, shortly after noon the guards retrieve a group of inmates and lead them to a stage set up just for this event.

It feels like a cheesy 80s game show, with seven seating areas for all the teams to sit comfortably. There's a table and a couch, with paper on the tables. There's a small divider between each area. Off to the side of them all is a typical white wood podium, with a big microphone. Standing behind the microphone is The Ringleader herself, who is certainly dressing the part. Of course, The Captain is at her side. Her outfit doesn't seem to reflect that she's all that excited.

The Ringleader waves to each contestant as they are led to their places. Once everyone is is "settled", she clasps the microphone and greets everyone cheerfully.

"Hello one and all! If trivia and romance is what you're searching for, look no further than this stage. Welcome to The Newlydeds game!" She waves to the audience and they cheer in response. She's really working the crowd. After a brief explanation of the rules, she and The Captain take their places as round one begins.

The game is simple! We'll ask you guys questions about each other, and you better hope that the answer matches theirs! If it doesn't, you just might end up love-struck.

All participants get 100k CP.
The winning team with the most correct answers wins an extra 250k CP.

Rules:
- Five questions will be given to the teams. Two to one partner, two to another. The fifth question is given to the partner who answers the most questions properly. If both answer the same amount, the person to request the fifth question is RNGed.
- When the question comes up, think of your answer and let your partner answer. Then, ICly respond whether it's right or wrong. If it's close enough (ie: "What colour are your partner's curtains?" You answer lilac, they say purple -- we'll count it as close enough), we'll respond in affirmative. Otherwise, we'll administer the punishment if it's wrong!
- If a team does not answer the majority of, or three out of five, questions correctly they lose.
- This event will require a lot of participation, so make sure to stay active!

[ She sat back down, even if she was still fuming. She mumbled something a few choice swears under her breath. ]

[Ok he feels like an asshole but he waves a hand for her to go on. Let's get this over with.]

[ Captain offers a nod to them. ]

For Shotaro: A meteor is headed for your partner’s house, and they saved their family, pets, and the family photos. They have time to save one more item. What will they save?

[He considers a moment before he scribbles down his answer. "Something of her brother's"]

[ The question makes her flinch. She didn't have any of those things to even save.

She didn't have to think about what she'd grab if that did happen, though.

"The first book my brother gave me."

Actually he'd stolen it, but. No one needed to know that. ]

[ Close enough. She marks it as right. ]

For Fetch: If you gave your partner $10, what would they buy?

[ Fetch pretty much hated all the bitches running this place, but she wouldn't complain about being given the point even if it was technically not the same answer.

That didn't exactly mean she wasn't still pissed at Shotaro.

Her answer was, "some kind of hard-boiled bullshit" with a tiny drawing of a frowning angry looking egg beside it. ]

[He was momentarily super-torn about what to write. Ultimately, he decided to save the kissing up to his girlfriend for later. "Hard-boiled detective novels". But he was hiding a little behind his sign.]

[ Another case of close enough for Captain. She wanted this shit to be over with. ]

The final question, to Shotaro.. who best describes your partner on your first date: •The Warden •Peter Pan •Irving?

[He pulls a face. They're all terrible. But he picks "Peter Pan" because it's probably the least terrible of the bunch. He vaguely remembered someone going by that name before, but Irving and the Warden were right out.]

This game is a load of shit!

[ She looks disgusted, writing her answer as quickly and angrily as possible. She flips it over to show "PETER FUCKING PAN". The expletive has several underlines below it. ]

[ Captain frowns. ]

Miss Fetch, this is supposed to be a family show so please tone down the swearing.
Irregardless, your answer is right. Congratulations on winning.
However next time please do such with less vulgarity.

She stood up and held up her middle fingers in the air, giving Captain a death stare as she exited the stage.

She'd talk to Shotaro later. Maybe. ]

Telling me to "sexual intercourse unto thee" definitely isn't family friendly either. Congrats once again.

[ Captain stepped off the stage. The detective could chase his woman down. ]

[And chase her down he would. He fucked up big time.]
