Game the First: New Inmates for the New Year
[It's midday before Feng Wángzǐ, called Prince by all who find his name hard to pronounce, comes to in his underground cell, ill-fitting jumpsuit on his body and brand-new collar around his neck. He never expected to end up here, in this place, but with the crimes he was convicted for, it'd be certain death anywhere else. Might as well get used to the idea.]
[There's something - or some things, really - next to his cot. A book, and a piece of... candy? An experimental lick reveals its bitterness, so Prince rewraps it and pockets it before flipping through the book. Skimming soon turns into in-depth reading, and what he's seeing isn't pleasant. Reaching the end, Prince vents his frustrations by throwing the book across the room, where it falls harmlessly. He's still pissed off, though... Maybe a walk around G-Block will help him cool down?]
[Later in the day, Prince can be found wandering in the courtyard, just hanging out, or in the Gift Shop, buying and struggling to activate a communicator. He's really not good with technology. Only after he's done with that will he realize something awful, though. He's got no clue how to get back to his cell in G-Block. Um... Help?]

no subject
Ah...excuse me, do you need some help?
no subject
Help... would be welcome, yeah. [His scowl's still on his face, but it's been a bad day. He's still in his jumpsuit, clearly new.]
no subject
Ah... it works like a cellphone, see? [She presses a button and holds it for a few seconds before releasing. The screen flickers to life.]
no subject
It... was that easy?!
[His head goes down against his knees, and... is that laughter?]
no subject
[It looks like this guy just hadn't had a cell phone before... She gives a a small, bemused smile.]
no subject
Thanks... Sorry for troubling you for something so dumb.

in the courtyard
...Hey. You new here, too?
[He doesn't look much like a criminal, except possibly for that scar above his nose, and he's nearly as young as Prince is. He might be safe to approach?]
no subject
Yeah. Guess the jumpsuit's a giveaway, considering how few others are wearing them, huh?
[He grins a little, bit embarrassed and amused.]
Good to know I'm not the only one parading like a traffic cone, though.
no subject
[Red ponders it for a moment or two, then slowly extends one hand. Surely this guy should be friendly enough for a handshake, right?]
My name's Red.
G-Block
Temper tantrums aren't very seemly.
no subject
Do I look like I care?
no subject
no subject
Well, let's just hope it doesn't, then.
courtyard
After a particularly unpleasant afternoon he found himself brooding to himself in the courtyard, his arms crossed and the cuts and scrapes he had procured covered in bandages. The unfamiliar face wandering around the place caught his eye, but he wouldn't bother approaching him. If the kid wanted to talk that was his prerogative. ]
no subject
GAH! Sorry about that!
no subject
If you don't watch where you're going you may run into someone less forgiving next time.
no subject
[His clean, crisp jumpsuit marks him as a new inmate. It's possible he's still got drugs in his system.]
no subject
You should sit until you're stable again.
courtyard;
[There's one slightly nervous young teenage girl in a wheelchair who's out in the courtyard to get some air.]
no subject
[That thought process takes him enough time to create an awkward silence, which he breaks by shaking his head slightly and speaking.]
Oh, hey. Sorry, lost in thought a bit there.
no subject
O, Oh. I see... I guess that's not a bad thing. Eheh. You're new, right?
no subject
no subject
No... I've been here for a while, I'm sorry.
Goshdarn that text derp in that last post...
[He rubs his head, embarrassed to have assumed.]
Where do they even get normal clothes in prison, anyway?
