[You know that tiger that was roaming around? Yeah, well apparently Rei happened to run into it, but now she can't exactly escape. Especially since she's in a wheelchair and there's absolutely no way she's going to reveal herself right now.

It's not time yet.

Which is why there's a scared yelp coming from the courtyard, Rei completely frozen in place, her body shivering at the sight.]

[Georik was wondering exactly all the ruckus was. How did the Warden think releasing all these animals was possibly a good idea? Then he saw the tiger and saw the girl in a wheelchair near said tiger.

That. That wasn't going to work. He wasn't even afraid of the animal--he knew that he probably could heal himself.]

Why don't you try having a better meal?

[Especially after having a littler sister himself who was confined to a wheelchair... Georik found a rock and threw at the beast.]

Ah…

[Rei’s eyes widen in surprise as someone actually comes to her rescue; something that she didn’t expect at all as she begins to wheel herself back. The tiger seems to look quite satisfied with that treat, and is now distracted by it. As her eyes glaze over towards her savior, her voice shakes before she manages to catch herself, taking a deep breath.]

T, thank you… mister. It looks like you saved me.

[faustianpact]

[The tiger seems to be sniffing at the rock for a minute.]

I wouldn't say that just yet--I suggest you get out of here while you can.

[In fact, it doesn't take long for the tiger to realize that Georik didn't throw food at it. He turn towards Georik with a growl in his throat. There's a leap: Georik steps aside in time but not in enough time for the tiger to get a swipe at him.]

Tch. [The gash in his arm isn't that deep but it clearly drew blood. Not that Georik seems to notice. He doesn't even grab at the wound.]

Ah-

[She stops, her eyes wide and clearly surprised as she rolls backwards, even though she's not all that quick about it.]

[He rolls his shoulders and begins walking backwards, fists held up in a boxing position. His injured arm is towards Rei--but it seems like the bleeding has stopped entirely.]

Pathetic!

[He's a big man, clearly over six feet, but even so...]

[tallyhope]

[ Jake was suspicious at first, but then he actually left his cell and interacted with the animals.

Also, he's bad at being suspicious.

He has found himself a big fluffy white dog and is out in the courtyard with it, tossing a tennis ball for it to fetch. ]

[D....DOG....

kanji walks over to the two of them, and he just kinda... stares at the dog.]

Uh... y-you gonna keep that dog? [he wants to pet it...]

[tallyhope]

[ Jake glances up, taking the ball from his new friend and tossing it again. ]

That was the plan! I mean, I can't just leave him to his own devices, and we're getting on swimmingly...

[tatsumisicle]

C...could I uh.... pet 'em? ...He looks so soft...

[tallyhope]

Absolutely! He's extremely friendly, knock yourself out.

[ The dog returns the ball to Jake and looks up expectantly. ]

[A young dog bounds in the snow. Kanbaru is on her heels.]

Valhalla--sit! Valhalla!

[tallyhope]

[ ANOTHER DOG. Halley stops chasing the tennis ball and immediately trots on over to his new friend.

Jake glances up in surprise. ]

Hi there!

[ambivalentpaws]

Yo.

[Valhalla is a young puppy and pauses when the larger Halley comes towards her before charging at him, trying to lick at his face.]

[tallyhope]

[ Despite his size, Halley is so happy to have a new friend. He licks right back! ]

I sure wasn't expecting a turn of events like this, were you?

[whiteas]

[ Weiss has definitely been avoiding people as much as she can. However, she's been chased out of the cell by a certain friend that she's made.. who seems actually pretty loving. She just wants pets! But Weiss is definitely hesitant to go petting a fox. Even if it just seems to be following her around as she goes to try to lose it outside in the snow... but it just seems to think that's more fun, since it's jumping around playing in it while following her. ]

[dramaticals]

[...aaaand the man sees a girl being chased by a fox.

he sighs a little at that, then goes over to the girl. he had been outside trying to avoid everyone as well, but he saw this display and couldn't just ignore her.]

What are you up to?

[whiteas]

[ Just as he's coming over, she's scooping up some of the snow and 'splashing' it at the fox. Who just seems to think she's about to start playing, even though she was trying to shoo it. Of course, he practically sneaks up on her so she gets startled when he comes over and..

Well...

She scoops it at him instead. ]

You startled me! [ That was so his fault. ]

[dramaticals]

[...well, not like a bit of snow was about to bother him. the man rolled his eyes at that, kneeling down a little ways from her now.]

You're trying to get rid of the fox?

[he's already on to you, girly. adam has his hand outstretched towards the fox, allowing the animal to come near and smell him if she wants. adam was good with animals, actually, they were the only ones he got along with.]

[whiteas]

[ She seems to still be minorly upset about this whole ordeal, but it looks like he's getting ready to help so she crosses her arms and watches, occasionally darting a wary glance at the fox. ]

She's been stalking me since I left the room.

[ It's a wild animal, why should she not be worried about it following her? ]

[Kanbaru had left the cell before Weiss did. She found a young puppy. Having worn herself out, Kanbaru is now carrying said dog in her arms.]

Yo!

[She doesn't understand why Weiss is throwing snow--until she finally sees the fox. The puppy doesn't seem to notice at least.] Looks like you made your first friend, huh? Other than me.

[whiteas]

I'm still not sure if either of you are friends.

[ At least by now Adam's talked her down from trying to run from the fox entirely. She was actually.. sort of playing with it this time. ]

We barely know each other and what are you holding?

[ambivalentpaws]

Valhalla--she's a dog!

[At the sound of her name, the puppy starts to move in her arms. Kanbaru doesn't let her down yet, though.]

Anyway, I guess it's a little early but we are probably going to be stuck with each other for a while. Might as well try to get along a little.

[whiteas]

Valhalla. You named it already?

[ Kanbaru had to have just found the dog, there's no way anything could be named so easily like that, could it? Weiss was still waiting to figure out what she wanted to call the fox. ]

Let the dog go. If the two of them get along, then I'll consider it.

[ Rika is walking around, collecting her thoughts on what to amuse herself. She stops after sometime to notice that a flock of kitties following behind her. The girl tilts her head before leaning down to hold one in her tiny arms. ]
