Punishment Game!

Shortly after the Warden's announcement, the guards enter G-Block to escort the Carnival Corpse losers to the punishment area. As usual they are rough and impatient, so anyone dumb enough to fight back will get a little pre-game roughing up.

When the screens around the prison come on, each Deadman is already strapped into a chair with the roulette wheel looming behind them in it's grotesque glory. It seems that the only member of staff present is the Doctor, who waves to the audience with her lips ever so slightly turned up into a ghost of a smile. She was silent as the off-screen announcer shared the details of the game, but those in the room could likely sense her anticipation.

"You all know why you're here, don't you?" The Doctor turns once the announcer is finished. "Then let's begin."

(ooc: When you reply, please specify what you want done to your character. You're more than welcome to pick a punishment" from the list, or RNG it for a bit of fun. You may also allow the mods to choose a punishment. If that's the case, please mark rather you want our choice to be fatal or non-fatal. Not a knife. Not a medical saw. No...it had been the screaming blade of a chainsaw--a blunt instrument that severed and severed and only the deftest of hands could sew up the remains. Her father's favorite tool. Hadn't that been why her mother had found a smaller chainsaw for her?

She's not paying attention to the Doctor directly. Even if she had been, that was a question she'd leave unanswered. She does scream, though.

The screams told their own haunting story that was like music to her ears. She didn't need an answer other than that.

She was quite nearly done, to her dismay. She wanted to hear what else those screams would tell her.

The screams die down as the saw finally finishes cutting through bone. It turns into labored breathing. Two thoughts brings her fully to the present: one day, Aya will be the one holding a scalpel again and the Doctor had some lovely features...

She'll remember this.

"Not a bad patient at all." She smiled, almost politely. As she had done with the young boy, she admired her work here as well. Not too long, though, since cute little Magpie would bleed out if things weren't addressed immediately. That would be a shame, so she reached for the appropriate tools and began fixing her up.

She really can't focus because of the pain and the blood loss. She watches quietly until... "Have you ever used a chainsaw?"

That made her pause for a moment before she continued her work. She didn't show her interest, but it had been piqued.

"Are you making a recommendation?"

"It's really a skill-testing tool... the hard part is keeping anything salvageable afterwards."

[avibusraris]

"Not a recommendation but a challenge." She gave that pleasant smile again, looking up now that she had completed her work. "I'll keep that in mind, Magpie."

She motioned for the guards to retrieve her.

This wasn't going to be the last time they'll meet. Aya's sure of that. She'll let the guards take her away without further comment.
