The Masquerade!

Have you signed up to go to the ball? Not everyone is going, and they don't have to! But they are highly encouraged to. Whether they have a date or not depends on how they'll be getting there. If they do have a specific date then the car that picks them up will be a regular guard car, and they will be told to get into the back and be escorted that way. The guard's cannot be harmed in their car, there is a metal blockade in the car, so sorry! For those that don't have a date, they'll be expected to get into a limo, taking about six or seven inmates at once! You might find your friends in the limo on the way there, yay!

The guards will take the inmates to a secluded spot on an entirely different island than the main one the prison is on. It's a coliseum, one that's used for special events involving horses and other fun animals. The Warden special ordered a massive tent that covers the entire coliseum, and there are heat lamps scattered about within. It's cold outside, these are a must! Around the perimeter of the tent there are several guards with loaded guns. They're standing about, watching very carefully, and if anyone tries to attack another inmate or tries to escape they will be shot on sight, no questions asked.

[Dancing, Eren decided, was exhausting. More than fighting had ever been. He didn't always have to talk much, but he had to pretend to be pleasant and happy to be there, and act like he knew what was going on unless he wanted anyone to notice he wasn't actually a guard. Still, he decided, it would be worth it, so he laughed lightly at a comment he had only been halfway paying attention to, gently relinquishing the hands of his dancing partner.]

[Trying not to appear as if he was too eager to leave, he began to walk off to a group of guards, checking his tie yet again to make sure it was in place.]

[Someone else is trying to make her way off the floor, but without any dancing at all. Looking down at her shoes, she's not even paying attention when she bumps into him, stumbling a bit backward.]

[Not wanting to step on her feet, he quickly takes a step back, reaching forward to offer his hand when he sees her stumble.]

It's okay. I should have looked where I was going.

[She'll take it to keep from falling but steady herself on her own. Falling in a dress would be just what she needed to end this night.]

No, it's not you, it's just... [She huffs.] Urg, dresses are just hard. They flap when you move.

[He lets her hand go after a moment, marveling at the hazards of wearing a dress.]

Why do you wear them if they're hard to move in?

[He doesn't get it at all.]

This one's not, because it's kind of loose. I'm just not use to anything that doesn't have two legs, you know?

I'm just not used to moving like this at all, I mean dancing. But I had to come. I guess you did too?
