The Masquerade!

Have you signed up to go to the ball? Not everyone is going, and they don't have to! But they are highly encouraged to. Whether they have a date or not depends on how they'll be getting there. If they do have a specific date then the car that picks them up will be a regular guard car, and they will be told to get into the back and be escorted that way. The guard's cannot be harmed in their car, there is a metal blockade in the car, so sorry! For those that don't have a date, they'll be expected to get into a limo, taking about six or seven inmates at once! You might find your friends in the limo on the way there, yay!

The guards will take the inmates to a secluded spot on an entirely different island than the main one the prison is on. It's a coliseum, one that's used for special events involving horses and other fun animals. The Warden special ordered a massive tent that covers the entire coliseum, and there are heat lamps scattered about within. It's cold outside, these are a must! Around the perimeter of the tent there are several guards with loaded guns. They're standing about, watching very carefully, and if anyone tries to attack another inmate or tries to escape they will be shot on sight, no questions asked.

[ That devilish grin of his only grew at her closeness, but he only lingered for a moment before pulling back. ]

You're just gonna have to wait to see, Regina.

[ she chuckled ] I'm rather impatient though.

[schizophreniac]

I like to think I do.

That right? Just so happens I am too. [ He smiled, a teasing tone to his vocie. ]

[stillinlove]

Then why don't you just come out and say what you want to. What's stopping you? [ she leans in, taking her glass of mine in hand once it arrives ]

[schizophreniac]

I thought we just agreed that it's bad to trust just anyone.

[stillinlove]

I was just testing you and you passed.

[schizophreniac]

Tricky, tricky. My tests take a little bit longer to complete, unfortunately.

[stillinlove]

Do they? I might be more impatient if it takes a long time.

We could be friends at least, right? Friends talk about themselves to each other. That's all that I'm interested in.

[schizophreniac]

It won't. I'm a petty decisive kind of guy.

Sounds like you've got something specific in mind. But sure, why not?

[ she smiled at the answer, raising her wine glass to her lips for a moment ]

Do you know how to dance?

[schizophreniac]

Wouldn't be here if I didn't.

[stillinlove]

Then...why don't you show me? [ she smiled coyly, extending a hand as she set her drink down ]

[schizophreniac]

[ Well, no way he would leave a beautiful woman disappointed. He stood up from his chair and grasped her hand in his, holding his free arm out towards the dance floor. ]

Should I follow your lead?

[stillinlove]

The man is usually supposed to lead, though I guess it might be different in prison. Unless you really don't know how.

[ she teased, smiled, and stood to make her way out onto the floor ]

Maybe I just wanted to switch things up a bit.

[stillinlove]

Lets see if you can keep up.

[ still with her hand in his, she got to a place where she was comfortable and there was space for them both. there were probably people humping on each other and twerking nearby just like a prison would have. but she decided to change it up a bit, going to curtsy first as she started to dance like this. she kept an eye on him, a small smile on her face ]

[ He gave his own smile in return, but it looked like more of a smirk than anything. Formal dancing was never his favorite, but it was something he knew how to do and pretty well at that. Regina herself was one hell of a dancer, which definitely made things more fun. ]

Hey, you'e not half bad at this.

[stillinlove]

[ Regina gave a grin, actually excited that he even knew what to do. she lead him, looking more and more intrigued by him ]

Well, thank you. I told you that you might not be able to keep up.

[schizophreniac]

[ He noted her enthusiasm, finding himself becoming equally interested in her. There was something about her most other people there didn't have. Maybe it was just that classy lady vibe. ]

Here's to hoping I'm not slowing you down.

[ she could totally pull of a retro kinda anything if she wanted. she'll stop for a second as it moves to a slow song. now she's going to get close to him and slow dance, putting a hand to his hip like the man would with both of their hands together and extended to one side ]

I'm impressed, believe it or not.

[schizophreniac]

[ Admittedly, he found her whole taking the lead thing pretty sexy. ]

I must be doing something right then.

[stillinlove]

I think you just might. Don't let it go to your head though.

[ and here goes the dip! she'll be laughing if Scratch actually does let her dip him ]

Me? Let something go to my head? Never.

[ He almost let her go through with it but stole the lead from her at the last second. ]

I'm guessing that it happens oft-- [ she cuts herself off, laughing when he decides to steal the show ] I thought you didn't want to lead.

I didn't. But I do want to impress you. [ Wink wink. ]
