Punishment Game!

Shortly after the Warden's announcement, the guards enter G-Block to escort the Carnival Corpse losers to the punishment area. As usual they are rough and impatient, so anyone dumb enough to fight back will get a little pre-game roughing up.

When the screens around the prison come on, each Deadman is already strapped into a chair with the roulette wheel looming behind them in it's grotesque glory. It seems that the only member of staff present is the Doctor, who waves to the audience with her lips ever so slightly turned up into a ghost of a smile. She was silent as the off-screen announcer shared the details of the game, but those in the room could likely sense her anticipation.

"You all know why you're here, don't you?" The Doctor turns once the announcer is finished. "Then let's begin."

(ooc: When you reply, please specify what you want done to your character. You're more than welcome to pick a punishment" from the list, or RNG it for a bit of fun. You may also allow the mods to choose a punishment. If that's the case, please mark rather you want our choice to be fatal or non-fatal. You can contact us if any of our choices are out of your realm of comfort.)

Hina smiled a little bitterly. "Congratulations. I'd rather none of them had to go through this, but at least one of you is spared."
tanteiotaku: (why are you doing that with your neck)

He gave the screen a funny look when Ankh started laughing, but he didn't say anything. He wasn't going to cast judgement on the guy considering how his mouth had run off during his penalty game. "I get to sit here and watch knowing I made the decision to put some of them there."

Hina could only stand there. She wasn't going to pretend she wasn't upset about Ankh and Eiji; but even if one of them had won, the other would still be up there.

She flopped down across the table from Shotaro and sighed. "I'm not blaming you," she said. "It must have been really tough for you."

He shook his head. "You wouldn't be wrong if you did." But no, now wasn't the time for that. "Can I ask you about that guy with the funny hair?"

"About Ankh?" Hina glanced up at the screen, trying not to focus too much on his face.

Her heart just about dropped into her stomach when the roulette landed on heart.

"How do you guys know each other? He doesn't seem like the type a sweet girl like you would hang around with." He stared over at the screen. And he was trying to fight back with his branch of sin. "Ah, don't do that..." he grumbled at him like someone watching a horror movie.

Hina had to cover her face. Her shoulders were shaking and she shook her head. "I'm sorry, Hidari-san, but I can't say."

Okay he needed to back off a bit. She needed a friend right now. He just reached out and put a hand on her shoulder. This guy was full of piss and vinegar, that was for sure. But his fear was obvious.

She couldn't watch this. She stood and grabbed her tray and Shotaro's ruined glass. "I'll get you another drink," she said, before rushing toward the kitchen. She had to get away from that TV.
tanteiotaku: (really confused)

The drink was the furthest thing from his mind at the moment. But he didn't try to stop her. He settled back in to his seat. He wasn't really in a hurry to watch someone die, but it wasn't something he felt he could turn his back on either. Someone had to remember this.
