The Masquerade!

Have you signed up to go to the ball? Not everyone is going, and they don't have to! But they are highly encouraged to. Whether they have a date or not depends on how they'll be getting there. If they do have a specific date then the car that picks them up will be a regular guard car, and they will be told to get into the back and be escorted that way. The guard's cannot be harmed in their car, there is a metal blockade in the car, so sorry! For those that don't have a date, they'll be expected to get into a limo, taking about six or seven inmates at once! You might find your friends in the limo on the way there, yay!

The guards will take the inmates to a secluded spot on an entirely different island than the main one the prison is on. It's a coliseum, one that's used for special events involving horses and other fun animals. The Warden special ordered a massive tent that covers the entire coliseum, and there are heat lamps scattered about within. It's cold outside, these are a must! Around the perimeter of the tent there are several guards with loaded guns. They're standing about, watching very carefully, and if anyone tries to attack another inmate or tries to escape they will be shot on sight, no questions asked.

[Tidus is too busy demolishing his food to notice Terra looking at him. he does eventually glance up though, taking a moment to recognize him before he waves, yelling.]

[ oh god, he's trying to get his attention. he looks straight down at his plate, pretending that he didn't see him. you're to embarrassing, tidus!! ]

[fine, if you're going to be that way...Tidus is going to start tossing crumbs at your face!]

S-Stop that! What are you even throwing at me?!

Dunno, but it might have been in my mouth. What's your problem?

Are you serious?! That's disgusting, Tidus!

[sinspawn]

I had no idea. I thought it was acceptable and perfectly sanitary.

[darkerearth]

...Just stop talking. That was really rude. [ he looks down now. ooooh terra is pissed! ]

[sinspawn]

It wasn't in my mouth, Terra. And ignoring people is rude. [he looks away, scowling. he's more pissed!!]

[darkerearth]

You were being loud! If you needed to talk, you should've come over here instead of yelling! [ HE'S MORE PISSED THAN TIDUS ]

[sinspawn]

Do you have a headache or something? Whatever, don't worry, I'll leave you alone. [he just turns away to start ignoring him. NO WAY TIDUS IS WAY MORE PISSED THAN TERRA.]

[darkerearth]

What? Now you're just going to leave?! [ he gets up a follows after him now ]

[sinspawn]

What? You suddenly care now? [he rolls his eyes, walking faster.]

[darkerearth]

Stop throwing a tantrum already. [ he follows faster, going probably closer to the dance for. he reaches out to grab his shoulder ]

[sinspawn]

You're the one who's freaking out. [he twists around and glares.] What?

[darkerearth]

You wanted my attention, so now you have it. What is it?

[sinspawn]

I don't want it now. You didn't want to talk, so just back off. I'm doing you a favor.

[darkerearth]

Will you stop throwing a fit? Jeez! You were just being loud and I didn't want to deal with it. If you-- [ there's someone dancing and they bump into Terra from behind so he bumps into Tidus and then grabs his shoulders ]

[sinspawn]

[he groans loudly, making a bigger deal of it than it is.] It's fine, okay, I don't really--what the! [he raises an eyebrow at him.] Are you okay?

[darkerearth]

I'm fine. [ he frowns ] I guess that's what happens in the middle of the dance floor.

[ finally noticing Tidus's mask since he's closer, he pokes the sun on it ] You got a mask with a sun on it. I thought for sure it would be something with water on it...you know, you being a swimmer and all. [ he's trying to be nice! ] Listen, I'm sorry for ignoring you. Just have fun tonight and forget about that. It's the only night that we'll probably be able to feel kind of normal again...

[sinspawn]

Maybe you should move.

[he follows his hand with his eyes, shrugging.] Just because swimming's part of my life doesn't mean it's the only part of my life. Going by that, I'd figure you'd wear a football helmet with a mask on it instead. [he smirks.] Why'd you choose that one anyway? It's not bad, but it stands out. Don't worry about it. [his smile falls, shoulders sinking.] Yeah, no kidding.

[darkerearth]

Well you have to move too since we're talking.

Yeah, it's kind of weird... I don't know, I just grabbed one that looked nice. It looks like antlers. [ he sighed ] Don't be upset, that's why you have to be happy and quit getting mad.

[sinspawn]

You move first.

It does look nice. Are deer a favorite animal of yours? [he glances at him again.] I don't want to be the last night I feel normal. But you're right. We should enjoy it for now.

Where to?

Thanks. Um, not really... I don't have a favorite animal. It was kind of earthy...so it reminded me of football. But-- [ and now he's walking before he gets hit again ] Tidus, beggars can't be choosers, especially in a prison.

Did you come here with anyone? I didn't see you with a date earlier.

[sinspawn]

Uh...how about back over there?

Wait, wait, did you just say what I think you said? [he follows him, a bounce in a step despite the passion behind his words.] So what should I do? Just give up and stay in this prison?
